Goal Club

The purpose of the Goal Club is to raise funds for all of the Girls’ and Boys’ soccer programs at Walnut Hills High School and Junior High. The Goal Club is affiliated with Walnut Hills Alumni Foundation, a nonprofit organization.

Members of the Goal Club are the parents of Walnut Hills’ student-athletes interested in the Girls’ and Boys’ soccer programs at Walnut Hills High School and Junior High.  Members must remain in good standing with the Athletic Department and the Varsity Head Coaches.

The Goal Club meets the second Wednesday of each month.

The Goal Club supports the Walnut Hills soccer program with the following items (and approximate costs):
  • Preseason tournaments $2250 x 2 (boys and girls)
  • Coaches Salaries $3500 x 2 (boys and girls) (WH parent fees cover the rest of the salaries)
  • Coaches Gear $350 x 2 (boys and girls)
  • Storage Shed $600
  • Banners $200
  • Training Equipment $1000
The Goal Club pays out around $14k each year to support the soccer program at Walnut Hills.  

We do this through the following fund raisers (and approximate generation):
  • Flying Pig $1600
  • Honey Baked Ham $400
  • 5k Run $1000
  • Mattress Sale $5000
  • Low Country Boil $2000
  • Pool Party $500
  • Christmas Trees $500
  • Pizza Sales $3000
